A graduate in Marketing from UWE in Bristol, I have worked in business development in a number of market sectors for 15 years. In December 2017 I set-up my own business CSRB Limited. I can be found most weekends trekking the length and breadth of England supporting my beloved Tottenham Hotspur! I also love travelling, real ale and stand-up comedy!

If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
Do not be scared to constantly review your business and make changes. I review my business daily and I am always looking at ways to gain competitive advantage, whilst providing the best solutions for the client.
Which business person or company do you admire most and why?
I never compare myself to others, because we are all unique individuals, with equal opportunity to shine!
Which one phrase or quote sums up your attitude to business life?
He (or She) who dares wins! Whilst a favourite quote from one of my favourite TV sitcoms, setting up a business is a very nerve wracking, brave and ambitious thing to do! The results though are very rewarding!
What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
I joined WMB to build a network of business contacts for the long-term. Relationship building is something I have always enjoyed in my career and I believe this is the only true way to successful build and grow a business. I also like helping others and joining WMB gives me this fantastic opportunity!
What do you do at week-ends?
What is a weekend??? Seriously - I enjoying following the one and only Tottenham Hotspur around the country, attending Stand Up Comedy gigs, socialising with friends and family and walking in the countryside.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
Avocado with a twist of Lemon Smash - found it in Waitrose the other day!rnJack Cooke of Beyond the Brand - for engaging conversation!
What book are you currently reading?
Do not read books I am afraid!
What book(s) would you recommend?
1997 AA Road Atlas - helps you go off in all sorts of directions!
Who's your personal hero and why?
My Mum. She has done a cracking job bringing up two kids, had to contend with my Dad for 36 years, owned businesses and was given a 20% chance in 1998 of surviving the next three years due to Cancer. Saying that she would be useless in a networking meeting (her words not mine)!!!
What is your worst experience in business or work?
Any time somebody does not pay an invoice on time. We are all in business to earn money and very few of us run banks. Not paying an invoice and even worse ignoring you when you have to chase means I simply cannot do further business with you. Honesty, integrity and reputation are everything.
What was your first ever job?
First official job was multiple Sunday Paper Rounds and running the Newsagent part-time during the week. Those were the days of sweets on shelves in glass jars!
Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
I have two and cannot split them! First is White Hart Lane (Tottenham, North London) the home of my beloved Tottenham Hotspur FC! Have made so many friends there and witnessed some unbelievable moments in my life. Second is Las Vegas, Nevada. I try to get out there at least once a year. The bright lights of Vegas to the stunning Mojave Desert combine socialising and trekking - perfect!
