A bit about me...

SLC Digital Marketing is run by Sarah Coward. Sarah is a Social Media and Marketing Consultant who has over 20 years of marketing experience gained in both public and private sectors. She's worked in senior marketing roles for various organisations in the South West including The Bristol Evening Post, Alexandra Plc, the University of the West of England and Bristol Zoo Gardens. Sarah qualified from the University of the West of England with a BA Hons in English Literature and has a Diploma in Direct Marketing.

 

With experience both in-house and for agencies, we can appreciate and understand the needs of your business and always put excellent customer service at the heart of everything we do. Our team love the challenge of making projects come together from concept to fruition.

 

We offer a range of services from social media management, blog writing and copywriting, e-mail marketing, website creation, to direct and database marketing. We pride ourselves on working hard to deliver projects on time and to budget. Our knowledge and experience of both direct and digital marketing brings a wealth of expertise to the clients with whom we work. We work with a broad spectrum of clients including those in the Technology, Publishing, Construction, Financial and Business Services sectors. 

A bit more about me

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
Meeting new business owners and then the privilege of working together to learn and really understand the businesses with whom we work, and then helping them achieve their marketing plans and goals.

What is your vision for your business?
To grow; relocate to our own office (away from Sarah's home office) and take on an apprentice and grow the team :-)

If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
You'll never know everything you're going to need to know day one when setting up a new business - it's a long term learning curve. Don't procrastinate - just get started and work hard with a clear vision defined for your business.

What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
To join other like minded individuals and to collaborate and hopefully make new contacts who will want to work together with SLC Digital Marketing :-)

What do you do at week-ends?
I go running, and enjoy spending time with my family - three sons (two teenagers and one 5 year old!) I love cooking, socialising and meeting friends.

The Catcher in The Rye - J D Salinger

What was your first ever job?
Making sandwiches :-)
