A bit about me...

I joined Satellite in September 2016 after Siemens in Bristol relocatted to Manchester. I spent nearly 10 years at Siemens Financial Services; for the first 4 years I was the New Business Internal Manager - then after having my second child returned as a team leader supporting the Manager. Whilst I loved my time at Siemens and being in the corporate environment taught me a lot; I'm really enjoying my role at Satellite and having flexibility to meet and help a wider range of businesses and people.

A bit more about me

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
Getting to speak to and meet lots of different people from lots of different businesses and backgrounds - each day can be different!

Do your research and create a strong business plan for your business with a cash flow forecast.

Which one phrase or quote sums up your attitude to business life?
Service to others leads to greatness - Jim Rohn

What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
I want to meet and widen my network with local business/people and build strong relationships to be able to grow and support my role within Satellite. I'd like to have 1 to 1's with as many people as possible to get to know more about not just their business but them personally!

What do you do at week-ends?
Spend time with the family mainly and walking the dog! I love being at home eating good food, drinking nice red wine and getting out in the fresh air!

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
Tube of Aloe Vera gelly (such a great multi purpose product) & my dog Coco :0)

What book are you currently reading?
The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion

What book(s) would you recommend?
Attitude Is Everything by Jeff Keller

Who's your personal hero and why?
My mum - probably cliche but she is an inspiration; always positive, strong and fun

What is your worst experience in business or work?
Whilst I was New Business Manager for ING (nearly 13 years ago now), I had to tell my team the office was relocating which meant for those who didnt want to relocate their role would be made redundant - not nice.

What was your first ever job?
Admin person at HMRC

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
Playa Flamenca beach in Spain early evening - just lovely
