Join us for a festive Christmas Lunch on the SS Great Britain!

We are bursting with excitement for our 2025 Christmas Special WMB Networking Lunch on the legendary steamship & iconic museum, Brunel's SS Great Britain!  We couldn't think of a better and more beloved Bristol site to be celebrating Christmas and each other.
 

Christmas gives us all the opportunity to have a day where we can unashamedly take some time,for ourselves, let our hair down, and enjoy the season of goodwill. And what a fantastic venue for us to gather the whole WMB Community together in one place and celebrate together.

Our WMB community is a special one. We are a 'family' of like-minded entrepeneurs and business owners passionate about our businesses and we absolutely LOVE creating this event for you to catch up with old friends, and make some new friends too, whilst having some delicious yummy festive food and a drink or two! 

Come and join us on board this historic ship, have a mooch around the museum in the morning (open from 10am) and soak up the stories of old. For those of you who are fascinated in history or engineering, this will certainly delight your curiosity and thirst for knowledge. 

General Information

DRESS CODE:  Christmas Sparkles & Christmas Themed (with a touch of nautical thrown in if you so wish)

PRICE: £59 + VAT Non Members and Online Members

PRO Members: A supplement is charged for this event which is £29.00 + VAT in addition to your monthly subscription.

PARKING: Available at the Maritime Heritage Centre car park next to Brunel’s SS Great Britain. Our visitors pay a discounted rate of just £5.60 to stay up to five hours*. Simply park in any space and head to the ticket desk to make payment.

Please note that Bristol’s Clean Air Zone is in effect. Some vehicles (less than 29% of cars) have to pay to come into Bristol. Check whether your vehicle will be charged. An alternative option to consider is the Long Ashton Park & Ride service which operates Monday to Saturday.

Please be aware that a bus gate is in effect on Cumberland Road. Be alert for bus gate signage as you leave Brunel’s SS Great Britain.

11.45am - 12 Noon –  Non-Alcoholic Arrival drinks, mingling and networking

12.30pm  – Welcome from Philippa

12.45pm - Speaker - Mr Isambard Brunel 

1.15pm – 2 Course Lunch is served 

2pm – After Dinner Coffee & Tea served 

2.30pm – 3pm – Networking, mingling, exploring the ship

Please note you can arrive from 10am to freely explore the museum and ship at your leisure and this is included in your ticket. (normal cost is £22pp)

Important Information for PRO Members

PRO Members are automatically allocated a place and are booked on by our team - so there is no need to book again!
This Christmas Lunch event is in place of your usual networking meeting with your home group.
If you cannot come, we encourage you to invite a SUB or invite someone who you work with to take your place. 
There is a SURCHARGE for this event which is £29 + vat which is invoiced and charged by Go Cardless on 1st December.
