Mail Boxes Etc. Bath, located at 3 Edgar Buildings on George Street, is a well-established centre that has been serving businesses, students, and individuals since 2001.

A bit about me...

I was born in Hungary, where I studied tourism after finishing high school. Eager to explore new opportunities, I moved to the UK to chase my dreams and graduated as a sound engineer and music producer. While studying, I began working in business to support myself and soon realised I was making significant progress in the field. Given the advancements I had already achieved, I chose to pursue a business career rather than starting from scratch as a sound engineer. This decision has allowed me to grow and evolve in a field I’ve come to enjoy and excel in.

A bit more about me

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
Mail Boxes Etc. offers me a great deal of variety each day. While work can occasionally be a bit challenging, I have the pleasure of meeting different people daily, with each enquiry and job bringing its own unique aspect. This is where MBE Bath truly shines as a business – we always strive to find bespoke, tailored solutions for our clients, which in turn allows us to embrace and enjoy new challenges on a daily basis.

What is your vision for your business?
I believe in conducting business fairly, ensuring that there are always two winners when we work with our customers. I enjoy taking on challenging requests, as they often lead to new opportunities that help the business continuously grow and evolve. I also believe that a business is only as strong as its team, which is why I invest time and energy into developing my team and fostering a positive culture where everyone feels valued.

If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
Structure your business from day one by implementing processes and systems, and document everything – even if you're starting as a one-man band. Create a mission statement that captures your beliefs and goals, and begin building a positive culture from the start. This approach ensures your business is future-proof, ready for growth, and can easily scale when the time comes.

Which business person or company do you admire most and why?
Steven Bartlett is truly an inspiration. His relentless drive and innovative thinking propelled him from a university dropout to one of the UK’s most influential entrepreneurs. As the founder of Social Chain, a leading social media marketing company, and host of The Diary of a CEO podcast, he has set himself apart by focusing on emotional connection and anticipating future trends in marketing. His commitment to disrupting the status quo is unwavering, and his journey is a testament to the power of resilience, creativity, and relentless ambition.

Which one phrase or quote sums up your attitude to business life?
The phrase that sums up my attitude to business life is: "Focus on making progress, not perfection." This mindset helps me stay motivated, adapt to change, and keep pushing forward, even when things aren't perfect. It’s about growth and continuous improvement, which are key in business.

What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
WMB was recommended by an existing member and I thought it is a great place to meet likeminded and nice people, make new connections and have a great atmosphere nice conversations. I believe in people and also believe that when you build a network you are not selling your business, products or services but you build trust and personal relationships that might or might not lead into future opportunities.

What do you do at week-ends?
On weekends, I dedicate myself to my personal passions, which include a love for shoes and shoeshining, collecting watches, and indulging in my serious enthusiasm for coffee. I’ve learned the importance of drawing a clear line between my personal life and work, and once I leave the office, I’m fully disconnected from day-to-day business matters. This allows me to focus entirely on spending quality time with my family, pursuing my hobbies, and working on personal development. It’s my way of recharging and coming back to work refreshed and energized!

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
I’d take a luxury yacht, fully stocked with supplies, and a state-of-the-art espresso machine with an endless supply of beans, because even on a desert island, I’d want to enjoy a perfect cup of coffee!

What book are you currently reading?
Getting to Yes - Roger Fisher and William Ury

What book(s) would you recommend?
"Atomic Habits" by James Clear "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari "The Diary of a CEO: The 33 Laws of Business and Life" by Steven Bartlett "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu "1984" by George Orwell

Who's your personal hero and why?
n/a

What is your worst experience in business or work?
One of my most difficult business experiences was when I worked as an area manager for a company owned by two directors who ran multiple businesses. After several years, I decided to start my own business and wanted to give them plenty of notice, believing it was the right and respectful thing to do. However, instead of supporting my transition, they fired me on the spot. It was a tough lesson, but it taught me a great deal about loyalty, timing, and how to navigate career transitions.

What was your first ever job?
My first ever job was when I started high school, working a few evenings a week as a typewriter and text editor for a gentleman who was doing property valuation.

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
Los Angeles is my favourite place in the world. There’s something truly special about LA’s unique blend of cultures, creativity, and endless opportunities. The energy of the city is contagious—whether it’s the vibrant art scene, diverse food culture, or its role as the heart of the entertainment industry. From the stunning beaches to the Hollywood Hills and iconic spots like Venice Beach or Griffith Observatory, LA offers a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. It’s a place where dreams are chased, and being surrounded by people working on passion projects is incredibly inspiring.
