A bit about me...
I started life in hotel management ending on a high as Events Manager at The Royal Crescent Hotel. Hotel life (back in the day) wasn't condusive to home life balance when you have children so 33 years ago I set up a Conference & Events agency helping clients find the right venue for their event anywhere in the UK and Europe so I've had some great hotel experiences over the years.
Hotel marketing material has always been poor - we used to drive 4 hours to walk around a venue with a client to see if it was suitable! What a waste of time.... the moment I saw the Matterport software I knew it was a game changer.
I can now drop in to any hotel, rental property, student accommodation, gym or investment opportunity and walk around without leaving my house. I can measure, use the data to produce planning application drawings and review images....
We live in a 3D world so why restrict our vision. It would be like having a meal in a michelin star restaurant with a blindfold on :-)
