The aim of the session will be to take you from the start to the potential finish of your business cycle. Joshua Thursby of Goodings Accountants will take you on a journey to help you gain a better understanding of what the next steps are from an accountancy angle as your business grows.

This workshop will cover some of the areas that often cause the most confusion including self-Assessment, Income Tax, National Insurance, VAT, limited companies and the different ways business owners can take money out of a company. You'll also look at partnerships, joint ownership, property and investment structures, and what to think about when selling a business or its assets.

This will be a practical and easy to follow session, using real-world examples and by the end, attendees should have a clearer understanding of their main tax responsibilities, the differences between common business structures, how income and profits can be shared or extracted, and some of the key things to consider as a business grows or starts investing.
