A bit about me...
A highly experienced and successful senior executive, with over 30 years in business, I am The Alternative Board’s Bristol North region facilitator.
A North Wiltshire resident, I know the region, its people and challenges extremely well and bring my passion and expertise for business in the South West to the key areas of Bristol city centre, Almondsbury, Chipping Sodbury, Kingswood, Stoke Gifford and Yate.
I started my career as an accountant in public practice before moving into the not for profit sector, first as Finance Director and then Chief Executive, overseeing mutli-million pound organisations employing up to 200 people.
These demanding roles provided vital community services in financially strapped environments. They required skilled financial acumen and leadership to ensure value for money outputs which didn’t compromise on the quality of services provided. By getting to the heart of business issues, I was able to deliver real step changes that increased the effectiveness and enhanced the reputation of the organisations – locally and nationally.
I have a proven track record in identifying solutions that ensure businesses can operate more efficiently and effectively. I also have particular expertise in retail, property management, property development, investments and fund management.
