Mayler Management Coaching

Helping managers connect well with their people, bringing out the best in their teams, using my Unique Management Footprint© methodology

A bit about me...

I set up Mayler Management Coaching because I believe when managers are supported to develop the right mindset, tools and experience, they can bring the very best out of their team.

Having spent many years as an HR consultant, I have seen how quickly people issues can escalate. They can consume a manager’s time and money and cause stress. In most cases, the relationship with the employee suffers – often irreparably – and business growth stalls.

Rather than relying on a stream of quick fixes, I work with managers to implement a proactive, sustained approach.

My Unique Management Footprint© gets to the heart of how a manager interacts with the people they’re responsible for in their current role. Any pain points within the footprint signal areas we can improve to help reduce people issues and increase the bottom line.

When you’re clear about your UMF and how to apply it, you’re able to resolve existing problems and help prevent common issues such as low output and high absence from surfacing in the first place.

I then work with the manager to develop a new footprint by focusing on 9 know-hows for good people management. The manager emerges with greater clarity, competence and confidence, and a new, stronger Unique Management Footprint©.

The process is effective for managers (including owner-managers), team leaders and supervisors – anyone who is responsible for other people.

By directly addressing a manager’s style through their Unique Management Footprint©, I can help them fundamentally change how they relate to their team, generating even better business results.

As well as running Mayler Management Coaching, I am a non-executive director for a not-for-profit company in Bristol and a visiting lecturer at a local university. I also enjoy speaking at secondary schools to encourage students to think about their employability skills. My greatest acheivement lies in nurturing 2 wonderful children to young adulthood who both see life as a long journey of adventure and learnings where success and failure are both valuable.
