A bit about me...
32 years experience in the Office Equipment industry. From Trainee service engineer, qualified service engineer, Technical Specialist, service Manager, Service Director to Managing Director of my own business who advise, supply and repair office equipment, offering the excellent service only a local company can.

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
I love being my own boss, I wish I had done it years ago. Enjoy working with other business owners and helping them in their businesses.
What is your vision for your business?
To be the go to name for printers & photocopiers in Bristol. To build a reliable trustworthy business which my son can take charge of and grow with the help of future generations
If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
Go networking, it's simply the best way to get to meet other business owners/managers and to promote your business and help grow your confidence.
Which business person or company do you admire most and why?
I am a big fan of Karen Brady, not keen on the program The Apprentice, but have always admired Karen for the way she took on a Male Industry at a Football Club and worked her way to the top and remains there without losing who she is and what she stands for.
Which one phrase or quote sums up your attitude to business life?
If you say you are going to do it, then please make sure you actually do it
What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
I have been looking for a networking group to join and found the people at WMB very friendly and it was clear to see they were all working with one another and really trying to help anyone they could. I intend to work hard buisling relationships within WMB and do intend on visiting other groups and become a valued member.
What do you do at week-ends?
Long walks with the dogson the Mendips or down on the coast, Avid fan of Bristol City, so often found at Ashton Gate.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
A Kindle with every book written loaded on it and a solar panel to charge it up. My Idea of heaven is a good book and peace and quiet
What book are you currently reading?
I am currently reading book 3 of 7 of the Amos Decker books by David Baldacci
What book(s) would you recommend?
If you have never read the classics, then read them, they are classics for a reason.
What was your first ever job?
Had a paper Round selling newspapers at The General Hospital in Bristol. I used to walk around all the wards selling newspapers to the patients. I was 14/15
Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
Anna Marie Island, Florida. It's just simply stunning there and always gives me the peace and quiet in a beautiful environment i enjoy.
