A bit about me...
I'm the founder of Pretext Consulting and a fraud prevention specialist with over 13 years of experience working within the financial sector.
Throughout my career, I've worked closely with a multitude of organisations including the Police, the National Cyber Security Centre, and the Fraud Advisory Panel, gaining a deep insight into how fraudsters identify, target, and exploit vulnerabilities within businesses. I also hold a number of industry-recognised certifications including CompTIA Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
This experience has not only given me a clear understanding of what makes fraud attempts successful, but also how they can be prevented. I now work directly with businesses to translate that knowledge into practical and engaging training that helps staff recognise threats and respond with confidence.
I'm passionate about delivering tailored solutions that reflect the real-world risks businesses face. My approach combines expert insight with relatable, scenario-based learning, ensuring that teams not only understand fraud risks but are prepared to act against them
